Soon after graduation in 1998, I landed my first publishing job in children's books and have since gone on to enjoy many word-based adventures from editing travel guides to interviewing award-winning novelists. As well as my freelance work, I am a Teaching Fellow in Publishing at Bath Spa University, where I teach undergraduates the professional skills they will need to enter the creative industries – from sub-editing magazines to writing copy for clients, as well as core skills in InDesign, Wordpress and more. When I am not lost in a good book, you will usually find me creating my own stories on the vibrant streets of Bath, Bristol and beyond.
